In a castle a king and a queen and a prince lived with their servants. One day the prince received a letter. It said, "The bad guys are coming!" When he heard this, he got one of his servants to fetch his horse. He rode his horse away from the castle. The servant that got the prince's horse told the king that his son set off to go find the bad guys.
Later, when the king heard his servant, he got fifty of his best men to help his son and bring back the bad guy leader. Then the king's men set off.
A few hours later all the king's men and the king's son came back with the bad guy leader. The king told his men, "Bring the leader into the castle." When the leader was in, the king asked, "Why are you and your men attacking my castle?"
"You have the bills up too high."
"I guess I have been hard on the people. I will lower the bills."
"Thank you king."
The next day the king kept his word, but it wasn't what the leader expected. The king lowered the bills by two dollars. The leader wasn't happy about it.
Two years later
The king died by a heart attack and the prince became king. The bad guys thought that the new king would lower the bills by five dollars and they were right. When a princess heard this, she went to his castle and asked the king to marry her. The king answered yes and they lived happily ever after being king
