The Mixed Up Fairy Tale!!!

by Whitney Isaacson

Once upon a time there was a beautiful girl. Her name was Snow White. She had an evil stepmother and seven evil step dwarves. One day Snow White and her dwarves and mother were invited to a ball by the Tin Man and his parents, Goldilocks, and the Big Bear. But first she had to... clean the windows, dust the hall, make a lovely dinner, brush the horses, feed the chickens, scrub the floors, wash the wall, tend the sheep and still have time to get ready for the ball, thrown by the handsome Tin Man.

When all her jobs were done she tried to get ready for the ball, but her seven dwarves pointed out that she had nothing decent to wear. Poor, poor Snow White said, "Well, I was hoping you would let me wear something of yours."

"Are you kidding? You in my clothes?"

"Well, I'll wash up," she said.

"You don't have any time. You have to get the horses ready so Mother and I and the rest of the dwarves can go to the ball and dance with the Tin Man."

By the time she had the horses ready and the dwarves on their way, she was crying. Then all of a sudden, a little man named Rumplestilskin came to save the day.

"What are you doing here?" Snow White asked. "And what are you good for?"

"Quit asking so many questions. My name is Rumplestilskin, and I will get you to the ball!"

Then he pulled out a wand and said, "Alacazam!" Suddenly Snow White was a beautiful woman in white with lovely glass slippers! "You'd better be back by midnight, for then the spell will Break," Rumplestilskin said.

Then she went off to the ball. When she got there she danced with the Tin Man. When her dwarves saw her they didn't recognize her. At the stroke of twelve the spell vanished and she ran home. The Tin Man ran after her, but only found her slipper.

He went to every house with the slipper. Then he went to her house. She was busy on the floor. She ran downstairs. It fit, and they lived happily ever after.
