Greetings!
Welcome to the first issue of Renaissance-Central.com. Interest in the Renaissance, Middle Ages and Fantasy have all been on the rise, but there doesn't seem to be any one place to connect these worlds together. That's what Renaissance-Central is all about. Our sponsor, Chivalry Sports Renaissance Store, receives many letters and calls, every day, all hungry for more articles and information. We've put together a new monthly electronic edition for those of you who want to "Live the Life".
Each month we'll provide articles relevant to the history lover, historical re-enactors, fantasy fans, live action role players, thespians, artists, costumers and musicians. You'll find stories about who's doing what, costuming tips, how to's, what's happening on the Faire circuit and ways to incorporate traditions past into today's lifestyle, as well as movie, book and music reviews. There's even a kids kingdom with special features and activities just for children. We'll also compile a list of associated links and a Faire schedule.
Just like a garden, this is only the beginning. You'll see more additions as we continue to grow. We're looking for your comments and what you'd like to see included and hope you'll let us know about upcoming events you'd like to share and pertinent news. Most of the pages have emails for your comments. We're also looking for writers and story ideas. For content concerns please email me at: cynthea@renstore.com For technical concerns please email Matt at: webmaster@chivalrysports.com
We hope you'll come back again and again, making Renaissance Central your own gateway to the worlds of Fantasy, Renaissance and the Middle Ages. And if you like what you see please let us know and don't forget to check out our sponsor's website at renstore.com
